~Roderick Strong vs. Davey Richards~

Roderick Strong wins after rolling up Richards into a pinfall while Richards had the ankle lock applied to Strong.

ML: I wish it was Roderick Strong who was getting the opportunity with the WWE over Davey Richards. With that said, this match was incredible! It's going to be hard for the other two matches to top this opener and this program features an ROH World Title match. I've said it once, I'll say a million times: Roderick Strong is the most underrated wrestler in North America. He deserves his "Mr. ROH" nickname. Richards burnt his bridge with ROH, so I'm assuming this was his last match with the company.

~Michael Elgin vs. Mark Briscoe~

The match ends in a No Contest after Silas Young attempts to interfere and attack Mark Briscoe, but was stopped by Jay Briscoe. All four men have a brief brawl outside the ring.

ML: Definitely not my favorite Michael Elgin or Mark Briscoe match but the match was entertaining enough. Elgin is impressive and his strength is unrivaled on the ROH roster. He hasn't fallen into that typical "big man funk" where he either regresses or becomes stagnant; he continues to improve and no match of his is the same. He has impressive agility and technical ability to complement his stength. Mark Briscoe is still a very sound, technical wrestler. He doesn't get enough credit for his singles contributions because he's been a tag team wrestler most of his career. I hope he continues to get better while he has this time away from his brother to shine in singles competition.

~ROH World Championship Match~ (c) Adam Cole vs. Jimmy Jacobs w/ BJ Whitmer

Cole retains the World Championship after hitting a variation of the "Canadian Destroyer" on Jacobs for the pin.

ML: This was one of my favorite Jimmy Jacobs matches I've seen. There's no secret that I'm hot and cold with Jacobs; I find him to be an inconsistent performer, but that's just my opinion. This match between Cole and Jacobs was awesome! Both guys did an excellent job of executing the story and keeping the pace at a pretty high level. I still don't believe this match stole the show; Strong and Richards overshadowed this one. Adam Cole has become one of my favorite wrestlers in the States, which is something I never thought I would say. Final Battle should be a lot of fun! Looking forward to see the rest of Cole's World Title reign unfold. I expect Jacobs to get another opportunity in 2014.
