When a company decides to dedicate an entire one hour show to one match, I cringe. Mainly because I expect to see a lot of filler and numerous amounts of commercials to make up for the dead time that happens during a match.

So, when I heard that this entire television taping for ROH was going to be dedicated to the Team All-Stars vs. Team ROH Champions, I sort of died inside.

A large part of that was in due to the mess Steel Cage Warfare that took place a few months ago between Team ROH and S.C.U.M.; that match was long and took place with one other match on the show. It was sloppy. I couldn't find myself engaged in the match.

Then, I read that Team All-Stars vs. Team ROH Champions went a total of 75 minutes - there was a little hope restored that they could pull this out.

Despite some of the action being cut from the total television production, ROH did an excellent job at being able to keep this episode action packed, editing the match at the right spots to eliminate a lot of those rest periods. And trust me, wrestling for 75 minutes, there will be a lot of rest spots.

ML: What a match! I would have loved to have seen it when it took place at Glory by Honor XII, but unfortunately, Glory by Honor this year wasn't an iPPV. This match had everything from high flying spots, to technical wrestling, to amazing in-ring chemistry and psychology - there was even a brief, but awesome, reunion between Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly, the former Future Shock tag team. That reunion led to a little dissatisfaction between Bobby Fish & O'Reilly. The editing team did an amazing job at cutting out the spots that didn't really affect the overall match, while they were still able to capture the whole story and all of the action during the match. Matt Taven & Cedrick Alexander really stood out during this match for their respective teams, they were pretty impressive throughout the match. The one on one ending between Michael Elgin & Adam Cole was better than most singles matches, and that encounter took place just after the ONE HOUR MARK! That's incredible that they were able to dig down deep and produce such a high caliber ending to an amazing match!

ML Notes:

*Looked like Adam Cole may have suffered a concussion off of that powerbomb, at first glance - even Elgin showed concern after the pinfall

*Jay Briscoe made an appearance at the end of the match, hitting Elgin and Cole over the head with a brand new World Title that he introduced.

*Judging from the fact that ROH Officials allowed the spot with Briscoe and Cole to happen, I'm wondering if Cole wasn't injured that badly.
