The Miz defeats Kofi Kingston with a rollup on the pre show. Miz offers to shake Kofi's hand after the match but Kofi slaps him instead. Excellent opener! Kofi and Miz have always had decent matches together, but tonight was unique in the sense that it was very fast paced and flowed nicely. Great kickoff!

Hunter and Stephanie kick off the show. Hunter guarantees there will be no physical interference in ANY match tonight. He then says Boston, Are you ready? Show time! Nice hype by the owners for this one!

Up first is Rey Mysterio, the Rhodes Brothers and the Usos taking on the Real Americans and the Shield in a five on five elimination match! The crowd loves the Usos and Mysterio, and they love the Rhodes Brothers. Then comes Zeb Colter to talk...ugh. Who had the brilliant idea of putting this idiot with anyone in WWE? Cody cuts him off, thankfully. Anyone else find it sad that despite being quite entertaining, Cody will never have even half the charisma that his brother possesses? Out come the Shield through the crowd. Ambrose is out first when Cody rolls him up for a three count after Ambrose mouths off to the referee. I didn't expect that one. One of the Usos eliminates Swagger next after a big splash and major offense from Mysterio. Cody Rhodes next eliminates Antonio Cesaro. One of the Usos is out next and so is the other one as well as Cody Rhodes. Mysterio next eliminates Seth Rollins. It's down to Goldust and Mysterio against Reigns! I find it funny that seventeen years ago, Reigns' cousin the Rock last eliminated Goldust and Crush to win his debut match in WWE. Now Reigns has eliminated Goldust and it's just Mysterio and Reigns for the finish. Reigns spears Rey for the win and he's the sole survivor!

^If the rumors are true about WWE having big plans for Reigns, then this was a nice way to showcase it. Big win for the big Samoan in an EXCELLENT elimination match as he eliminates FOUR members of the other team! I give ***3/4 for quality!

Randy Orton interrupts Stephanie, Hunter and Kane backstage. Hunter wants to know what Randy wants tonight and gives him a pep talk. Interesting segment.

Big E. Langston defends his newly won IC Title against former champion, Curtis Axel. Big E makes quick work of Axel and retains the gold. Renee Young interviews Big E after the match and he puts over Boston and the Red Sox.

^Nothing special for a match, but nice to see his dominance shine through here yet again. I can't wait to see him in the main event scene in the next year as his talent is just amazing for a guy his size.

AJ Lee gives a terrible pep talk to her team backstage. Awful. She'll be lucky if her team doesn't abandon her in the ring. Then she gets better with her motivation by talking about the Total Divas show that none of them are on. Good motivator.

It's time for the seven on seven divas elimination match. Naomi eliminates Alicia Fox first. Naomi tags in Cameron for a double team. Rosa pins and eliminates Cameron and it's now six against six. Nikki Bella gets in the ring and eliminates Rosa Mendes next. Summer Rae comes in to take on Nikki. They have a dance off. Nikki dropkicks Summer and eliminates her. It's now six on four. Eva Marie tags in and takes on Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn eliminates her with a gutbuster as it's now five against four. Kaitlyn does the same to Naomi and it's now four on four. Brie Bella next eliminates Kaitlyn after a missile dropkick and Aksana gets in the ring with Brie. Aksana eliminates Brie with a spinebuster off a distraction. Nikki jumps in the ring with Aksana and delivers a modified backbreaker to eliminate her as well. It's now three on two with JoJo, Natalya and Nikki against Tamina and AJ Lee. Tamina is in the ring with Nikki. Nikki tags in JoJo to take on Tamina. JoJo gets a tiny bit of offense and Tamina destroys her for it with the Samoan drop. She tags in AJ to finish off JoJo and just take the pinfall. It's down to two against two. Tamina misses a splash on Natalya and gets put in a sharpshooter. Tamina taps out. It's AJ against Natalya. Natalya forces AJ to tap out to the sharpshooter. They tell us Nikki was eliminated but she wasn't and had only tagged out? Nice job WWE for keeping up with the action, idiots.

Charles Robinson tells Randy Orton backstage that tonight he will do whatever the Authority tells him to do.

Ryback comes out and taunts the legends panel. He cuts a boring promo and the crowd chants boring. He issues an open challenge to anyone who wants to make a name o themselves. Mark Henry answers Ryback's open challenge and it's a WrestleMania rematch. Henry is now bald, for those of you who don't know. Too bad WWE didn't use this open challenge to bring up a top face from NXT instead of a returning Henry. Ryback misses a spear on Henry and falls out of the ring. He gets back in and Henry goes on the offensive. Ryback nails a spinebuster on Henry but then fails to deliver the meathook clothesline when Henry hits a leaping crossbody and a world's strongest slam for the three count.

^Not much of a wrestling match, but definitely entertaining for a big guy fight. Call it ** for a wrestling match but *** for brute strength. Nice to see Henry looking good and bouncing around the ring with ease for a big guy. I liked the performance here overall from both guys. Two limited performers giving us a show like that in a short amount of time is definitely something to recognized for.

Next up is John Cena defending the World Title against Alberto Del Rio. I wish Dolph Ziggler and Damien Sandow were involved here. Neither guy is even on the card; can you believe that? Cena's arm injury is obviously more important to WWE officials as it gets an entire segment to itself. You can hear Cena and Del Rio talking about their match plans as they wrestle. The word clothesline comes from Del Rio's mouth rather loud just seconds before he delivers one to Cena. This match is very slow and has the traditional Super-Cena comeback formula as he's taking a major beating right now with little spurts of offense on occasion. I'm disgusted. Slow story being told as Cena dropkicks Del Rio when he comes off the top rope. Cena eventually wins the match and retains the belt with an AA in Boston.

^Not their best match, and not that great of a match overall by any stretch. Too slow for anyone to really enjoy it.

CM Punk and Daniel Bryan defeat Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Punk hits a GTS on Harper for the three count after Dbry hits a flying knee on Rowan to knock him from the ring.

^Outstanding wrestling match from all for of these men! This is proof positive that WWE has big guys AND small guys that can deliver quality action in the ring. I would've been much happier with the overall show if this had been the main event.

John Cena is shown backstage with Triple H, Stephanie and a doctor talking about his arm. Randy Orton walks in and Cena leaves. Orton wants to know what the conversation was about and then storms off without getting an answer. Nice to see the Mania rivalry start building right now.

Randy Orton defeats the Big Show to retain the WWE Title. Orton wins with an RKO and a punk to the skull after the Authority's music distracts Show when they come out. John Cena comes out after the match and holds up the World Title belt in Orton's face to end the show.

^The match itself wasn't terrible, but it wasn't anything I'll be thinking about next week or want to see again. Nice way to close out the show with the tease of Cena vs Orton with both men coming in as World Champions. I don't like Orton's character with how it's booked, but at least he will give us quality matches as champion.

I liked Hell in a Cell better than Survivor Series. I like Survivor Series better than Battleground. Overall, I'll just call the show a five out of ten for general mediocrity. I loved the elimination match and I enjoyed the tag match, but that was literally it for me in terms of quality. Everything else put together wasn't enough for me to be excited about or to rate very high. If it weren't for the two matches I enjoyed, the score would be a two or three out of ten instead. Thanks for reading!
